Full moon nights hit different — and not just for werewolves. The lunar cycle is pulling strings you can't see, and your team is either riding the wave or drowning in it.

What It Actually Is

The moon controls the tides. That's not mystical — that's gravity. And if it can move entire oceans, it can absolutely shift the atmospheric pressure in a stadium. Every lunar phase carries a different energetic weight, from the quiet potential of the New Moon to the full, unhinged power of a Full Moon.

Different team archetypes respond differently to each phase. Apex predator mascots thrive under a Full Moon — maximum aggression, maximum intensity. Mythic and legendary archetypes peak during the Waxing Gibbous, when potential is building but hasn't crested yet. It's a rhythm, and every team dances to it whether they know it or not.

How We Use It

We track the real-time lunar phase on game day and map it against the mascot archetype of each competing team. A pack-hunter mascot under a Waxing Crescent? That's growth energy — they're building momentum. A solitary stalker under a Waning Moon? That's retreat energy.

The engine calculates which teams are in lunar ascendance and which are in celestial decay. It's not about belief. It's about alignment.

Why It Matters

Because the sky has been influencing human behavior since before we had language for it. Ignoring the moon's phase on game night is like ignoring the weather — technically possible, but deeply unwise.

Look up tonight. The moon already made her pick.
